I guess it's about time

Well, if you've been keeping tabs, you'll know that I'm now back in London. Arrived yesterday morning at about 6am. Breezed through immigration with the new IRIS thing, so praise the Lord for that. If you haven't been keeping tabs and are still confused about where in the world we are, please be assured that my mum and I are staying put in London for the next couple of months. My dad, however, is right at this moment trying to book his ticket for Japan next month and the month after that he'll be in the Philippines so if you're trying to find him in the world, I'll be trying to update his itinerary online just for you to figure that out. =0)

Somehow, I managed to stay awake until 10pm with the help of "lively" conversations with our wonderful neighbour, Vera. It was good to be able to catch up with her, especially since she's leaving for the States for a couple of weeks starting Monday. I'm already missing the fellowship we had with SO many people over this last summer. If you haven't already checked out the photos, please go take a look- you might even spot someone you know since we live in a really small world. Yup, we had loads of Ex-OMer reunions, planned and impromptu so it really was awesome to catch up with people. It was especially good to have more time with my grandparents and also meet my new cousin who is simply the cutest thing on the planet. We got him a little outfit from the States, that was from Alcatraz that said, "Reject: too cute" so, I'm looking forward to a picture of him in it.

All in all, it was a REALLY good trip. Not only meeting up with old friends and just being able to catch up with what God's been doing in their lives since we last had that kind of contact but also making new contacts. It's been amazing to see how God has been opening some unexpected and amazing doors. Of course, we really do need to continue to pray. It was a little heart-wrenching in some places to see people so hungry for the word of God and yet do not know how to feed themselves with the amazing resources that surround them. Please do continue to pray for Japan and the church there. As I mentioned, my dad will be going back next month thouh working in a different part to where we just were. I heard that his trip will be quite intensive so please do continue to pray for strength and also that God will give the right words to the right people at the right time. When God puts it together, things become impressively simple so please do continue to pray for my dad's ministry there and that the church will be stirred and excited about God and His kingdom.

There has also been "discussion" about future direction. A couple of people have been asking us about this and all I can say at this moment is that there are loads of options and thoughts floating around but they are just still thoughts so please do pray with us about this. I don't really think I'm at liberty to share specifics at this time so please do forgive me in that department. Please also pray for us as we continue to serve the Lord here in London. We've got a couple of church retreats coming up and various other meetings. I'm trying to record some of the messages and Lord willing, upload them to our multimedia page so keep tuned in for those. I've already put a few online so feel free to check them out and also give us any feedback.

We're probably going to send out a short update newsletter soon before my dad leaves again so there will probably be more details on there. Thanks again as always for all your love and support and faithfulness in friendship over however many years the Lord has given us together. Praise Him!
